Our kiddos were spoiled this past week by their two adoring aunties who came for a visit from my beautiful home state of ND.  We had a blast and this mama was sad to see them go; It just pulls at your heartstrings when people who love your kids so much have to leave.  But it was great fun to have them and here are some snippets from our adventures.

If you haven't heard, IT'S A BOY!!!




Here's how the story went...
                                
                 1:30 am Monday, May 30th: water breaks; contractions start.

4:15 am: getting ready to head for the hospital; excited and in good spirits!!



5:05 am: arrive at the hospital; pouring rain.  (Picture not shown)



6:05 am: Baby Boy delivered by the nurses at Fairview Wyoming (an excellent facility if anyone is looking for a great place to deliver).

6 pounds 9 ounces; 20.5 inches long. PERFECT.

Introducing JAMES CHRISTOPHER!!  Such a gift!

And this little lady is officially a BIG SISTER!!  She adores her little 'bubba' and is the first to say 'hii-ii' to him every morning!!

the little gal got her first pedicure--she couldn't wait to show daddy :) who duly noted the color choice!

We spent some time out in the gorgeous weather...we thought spring was here but I guess Mr. Winter forgot his hat and had to come back!

and here we are, these are my sisters! So glad you were able to come and stay!

A Few Endearing Moments to Share...

As our Little Miss grows, Chris and I are determined to treasure this time in life when the ordinary is so extraordinary. We have been delighted to share in moments like these with our little gal. Enjoy!

In her Christmas dress; sporting the scarf her mama made for her as a Christmas gift. She loves wearing my scarves so I thought I'd make one she could have as her own...she does love it, especially the flower button...but she still loves to wear mine :)

 

She loves books and this scene was too cute to pass up--in her rocker scrolling through the sale ads.



Next time I'll stick to the box of 8 instead of going for the bargain in bulk crayons!!

Sweet times with Ga-Ga!



LOVING her dolls (we call them babies); frequently she will gather them all up and walk around like this...yes, you will count at least 4 heads in this picture!  I think she is also going to LOVE being a Big Sister!

We're BACK!!!!

Sorry for the delay, folks, but we had to reset our Blog passwords and couldn't get logged in for the longest time...but we are back in and excited to share some pics! 

Rosy cheeks and a bright pink nose...but she loves going outside (even in these frigid temps!) mostly to chase Tonka around!  Gotta love this sweet little snowsuit--a hand-me-down from her Aunties in ND!
